Sodium Trimetaphosphate (STMP)

Properties: White powder or granular in appearance. Soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents.

Usage: Used in the food industry as a starch modifier, as a water retention agent in meat processing, as a stabilizer in cheese and dairy products and as a stabilizing agent to protect food from discoloration and the decomposition of vitamin C. Also used as a raw material in vitamin C phosphate.
